Chairman of the Royal Advisory Council for Saharan Affairs (CORCAS) Khalihenna Ould Errachid held, Wednesday in Rabat, talks with a delegation from the Central American Parliament (PARLACEN), led by Navarro Anselmo, chairman of the Committee on External Relations and Migration within this institution.

 During the meeting, which tackled the Sahara issue and its latest developments, Ould Errachid outlined Morocco's efforts to settle this artificial conflict, says CORCAS.

He also highlighted the courageous autonomy proposal presented by the kingdom to bring this conflict to an end.

Morocco has been an observer member of PARCALEN since 2015.

The Central American Parliament exists since 1991 and consists of elected representatives from Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Panama and the Dominican Republic.

This regional parliamentary entity has its head office in Guatemala City and runs subsidiary organs in the capital of each member state.

The PARLACEN is the regional and permanent organ of political and democratic representation of the System of Central American Integration (SICA) with the fundamental objective of realizing the integration of the Central American countries.
