The presence of the fake "SADR" in the preparatory ministerial meeting of the Tokyo International Conference on African Development (TICAD) does not mean in any way that Japan recognizes, implicitly or explicitly, this entity as a State, said, on Saturday in Tokyo, Japanese Foreign Minister Taro Kono.

"I would like to announce that even if a group claiming to be a State, which Japan does not recognize, is present in this room, this does not mean in any way that Japan recognizes it, implicitly or explicitly, as being a State," said the Japanese minister at this meeting.

He added that it is not allowed to put names and flags in the room other than those of the African Union, as co-organizer, and of Japan, noting that anyone who disrupts this order will be asked to leave the premises.
