The Moroccan autonomy plan is the ideal solution to the Sahara issue, said chairman of the Czech-Moroccan friendship parliamentary group Vaclav Zemek.
The Moroccan initiative came to break a deadlocked situation which delays a political solution to this issue, said Zemek, deputy of the social democratic party (in power), in a statement to MAP.
Highlighting the climate of stability prevailing in Morocco, Zemek underlined the special ties between the EU and Morocco, a factor that encourages all countries of Eastern and Central Europe to foster their ties with the Kingdom of Morocco.
Zemek, who is the founder of the Czech-Moroccan friendship parliamentary group at the Czech Republic’s parliament in 2011, called for strengthening relations between Prague and Rabat in all areas.
“Our countries have huge economic potentials which Czech and Moroccan businesses should benefit from to establish a win-win partnership.”
