A group of 11 foreign ambassadors posted in Rabat had a chance to find out last week end about the nature and tourism facilities of the southern city of Dakhla.
The diplomats representing, 11 African and Asian countries, went to “Al Ghard Labiad” natural site and the “Dakhla Attitude” sport facility, two locations ideal for practicing kitesurfing and windsurfing all year long.
World renowned Major kitesurfing players will flock next March to the Dakhla attitude spot, located between the Ocean and the desert, for an international kitesurfing contest.
The ambassadors also visited the city’s multimedia library and the small museum of the Saharan Morocco which displays 23,000 books and other documents showcasing the rich Moroccan legacy and culture.
They also went to a sports complex and a high school.
