King Mohammed VI, Supreme Chief of staff of the Royal Armed Forces (FAR), received on Friday at the Royal palace in Rabat General de Corps d’armée Bouchaib Arroub, according to Maghreb Arab Press (MAP).
The King appointed General de Corps d’Armée Bouchaib Arroub, as FAR General Inspector, commander of the Southern Zone, says a release of the Royal office.
King Mohammed VI paid tribute to General de Corps d’armée, Abdelaziz Bennani, for his professional qualities both under the orders of the late King Hassan II, and of King Mohammed VI.
The Moroccan monarch also hailed Gen. Bennani’s exemplary career at the service of his King and homeland during decades, and which stands as a model of devotion and rectitude, the release adds.
Gen. Arroub was chosen for this new position owing to his high human and professional qualities and to the self-denial and loyalty which he showed in the discharge of his military and supervision duties.
