The US NGO Leadership Council for Human Rights praised the autonomy project for the Sahara and called on the Moroccan government to be “more aggressive” regarding its management of the Sahara issue.
“The autonomy project is the only thing that would work” to solve the Sahara conflict, which has been going on for more than three decades, NGO President Kathryn Cameron Porter said in an exclusive interview with www.article19.ma.
Porter called on the Moroccan government to adopt more aggressive policies to settle the Sahara conflict. “The Moroccan government needs to be more aggressive. They have been too nice”, she underlined.
